Delayed holiday activation 2022 and setting up your new line or upgrade / replacement device for Christmas

Section 1
Gabb offered holiday delayed activation during checkout for customers who ordered from November 1st to December 14th, 2022. Selecting this option allowed customers to delay their activation until December 20th, 2022. For customer's who used this option, you may set up your device anytime after December 21st. This is how it works:

1. Your Gabb device(s) will automatically activate on December 20th. No action is required on your end.

2. Your first full month of service (December 23rd - January 23rd for new customers) was charged at the time of your purchase.

3. Wondering why you’ll receive a bill on December 23rd for a small amount? Your first invoice is a prorate in for three days of service from the date of activation (December 20th) to the first billing date (December 23rd for new customers).

4. IF you used an affiliate code for a free month during a promotion at checkout your next month, January 23rd to February 22nd, is also covered!

Is your device an upgrade or a replacement device for an existing line?

1. For Gabb Phones (not Gabb Watches) you can transfer contacts, settings, photos and videos using Gabb Cloud as shown here.

2. From there, make sure that the phone number gets transferred to the new device. For customers going from a Gabb Phone to another Gabb Phone you may take out the SIM card from the old device and put it in the new one. This transfers the phone number to the new device.

3. If a Gabb Watch is involved (or the device/SIM card from the old device is lost) you cannot remove or insert a SIM card, as they are embedded in the device. Instead, perform a SIM swap as described here. After the SIM swap has been performed and the phone number is transferred to your new Gabb Watch, you can pair it as shown here.
