Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I access Gabb Cloud?
A: Through the Gabb ID App on your Gabb Phone and Gabb Phone Plus
Q: How do I use Gabb Cloud?
A: First you need to make sure you have an active Gabb Cloud subscription. Gabb Cloud is a paid service at $0.99/month for 10GB of cloud storage (plenty for most Gabb Phones). You can add Gabb Cloud to any of your Gabb Phones through the My Account Parent Portal (gabbwireless.com/account) under “subscriptions”. Once you have an active subscription you simply have your child login to the Gabb ID app on their phone and Gabb Cloud will automatically start backing up their device.
Q: How can I tell if my Gabb Cloud is up to date? What is my backup status?
A: When signed in to the Gabb ID App on a Gabb Phone, the status of your backup will display at the bottom of the screen. You will see one of the following messages:
-“Never backed up” status
-“Last backed up…” status with a date timestamp
-“You don’t have a cloud subscription - here’s how to get one”
Q: Is there a manual push or trigger to backup my data in cloud?
A: There is currently not. Gabb Cloud currently backs up once a day.
Q: If I delete a picture off my phone will this picture stay saved in Gabb Cloud or will it get deleted too?
A: It will get deleted off the cloud as well. The ability for the cloud to have pictures remain should be an option in the future.
